Yust_Nicholas_Graydon

Nicholas Yust creates both freestanding and wall sculptures from aluminum panels, which he paints using a unique acrylic painting process for metal that he developed. He created the painting technique as a way to add color to his pieces, while still allowing the manipulated surface of the aluminum to be seen.  Nicholas is the only metal artist in the industry with this capability.

Nicholas work draws heavily on his knowledge of material composition.  Nicholas studied oil pastels and interior architecture at the University of Cincinnati for two years before transferring to Wright State University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering and a Master's in Metallurgical Engineering.
