A Note Regarding Graydon on Tap

Dear friends,

Five months ago we suspended our monthly Graydon on Tap happy hour in person and have since shifted our efforts from showcasing local restaurants and breweries to highlighting ways to support to those in need within the industry.  In the wake of the most difficult time for the hospitality industry since Prohibition, we are now witnessing the evolution of an economic sector that might never be the same.

For Ohio’s craft breweries, this means more takeout beer, more growlers, and far less on premise sales.  The Ohio Craft Brewer’s Association has spear-headed an effort to promote local beer carryout sales with an interactive map showing which breweries have beer available for carryout or delivery.

As Summer winds down, the number of days to take advantage of patio beers and outdoor dining are fading.  The industry at large has likely not hit bottom yet, so we encourage everyone to show support to local favorites while you still can.

We look forward to hosting an in-person Graydon on Tap again in the future, but until then, find a good beer and a nice patio, and enjoy the good weather. We’ll keep connecting virtually.
