HR Forum: Trends and Challenges for 2019

Presented by VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm

The efforts to make sure your organization is compliant and strategic when it comes to human resources (HR) related topics is tireless. Your HR department wears many hats, pulling them in multiple directions, leaving them less time to focus on other important aspects of an organization, such as its culture.

Join us Thursday, June 6th as we hear from Jeff Rowe, President and CEO of Q Labs, as he presents on how to build enterprise value through company culture. He will review growth drivers, teaching strategy, how to unburden yourself from underperformers, and more. We will also hear from a panel of experts with Graydon, NVR, Sheakley and VonLehman around hot topics in compliance and strategy.

About the Speaker:

Jeff Rowe began his working career with The Procter and Gamble Company after graduating from Michigan State University in 1979 with a B.A. in Advertising and Marketing. Following his time at Procter and Gamble, Rowe worked for The General Electric Company’s Aircraft Engine Business Group/Marine and Industrial Engine Products Division. After leaving GE, Rowe spent 15 years in a variety of sales/marketing, business development and operating roles at Xtek, Inc. a Cincinnati-based manufacturer of component parts for steel mill and mining applications. Rowe was recruited to join Hydro Systems Company, a manufacturer of chemical dispensing equipment, shortly after the business was acquired by Dover Corporation in 1997. During his time at the lead of Hydro Systems’ operations, the company grew sales from less than $20 million to over $100 million, with the profit growth multiple substantially exceeding that of sales. Rowe is currently President and CEO of Q Labs LLC, a testing lab serving the Food Manufacturing, Personal Care Products, and Dietary Supplements industries. He assumed that role in January 2017, after leading a group of local investors who acquired the majority of stock in the company. Mr. Rowe is passionate about talent development and the sharing of business rewards with all employees within an enterprise. He is also deeply connected within the Cincinnati business and civic communities.
