Gladwell On Social Media

I am a big Malcolm Gladwell fan. If you’ve read The Tipping Point, Blink, or Outliers you know how well he writes about complex subjects. And he is able to get his readers to look at various subjects from a slightly different perspective. This New Yorker article is a great example. In it, Gladwell talks about what social media does well, and what it doesn’t really do at all. I don’t want to spoil it, but it does illustrate the need to really think about how your organization can effectively use social media. Don’t jump in with unrealistic expectations.
