I liked this article a lot. It gives some good tips about how to deal with the kind of bad press that goes viral. Like when a disgruntled customer performs a folk song about his bad experience on an airline and posts it on YouTube. The key point I think is that the minute something like that goes viral, you are almost hopelessly behind in the race. And, as much as it pains me to say this, a cease and desist letter from your lawyer probably won’t solve the problem (that really hurt to type). You may need to resort to the Web yourself. But better have a plan in place to do it right.
