Graydon Elects Four New Partners

Announcement

Graydon is pleased to announce the election of Patricia L. Hill, Daniel J. Knecht, Jeffrey R. Pfirrman, and Nicholas J. Ziepfel to the Firm’s Partnership, effective January 1, 2020.

Trish Hill is a member of the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights group and works out of the Liberty Center location. Trish’s practice concentrates in loan workouts, commercial collection and foreclosure, and bankruptcy law. She has experience representing lenders of all sizes in connection with work-out issues on all size commercial and consumer loans. Her representation covers the spectrum of loan originating issues, re-documentation of loans through the execution on judgment and real estate foreclosures. Trish earned her JD from the University of Dayton School of Law and her BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida.

Dan Knecht is a member of the Firm’s Litigation group and works out of the Downtown Cincinnati location. Dan’s practice is focused on the areas of complex business and construction litigation. He has experience steering complex commercial and construction litigation matters to positive resolutions. Dan has helped execute e-discovery collection and review programs for massive document populations in complex multi-party construction suits. He has also assisted with developing and managing thorough testing and remediation programs in construction claims litigation involving developers, retailers, and contractors with national footprints. Dan earned his JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his BS in Business from Indiana University. Dan is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky.

Jeff Pfirrman is a member of the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights group and works out of the Downtown Cincinnati location. Jeff’s practice focuses on creditor’s rights issues, bankruptcy and commercial litigation, and has expertise in a number of related areas, including receiverships, foreclosures, and real estate law. Prior to joining Graydon, Jeff spent time as an engineer working as a project manager in the automotive industry for an international trading and engineering company. Jeff earned his JD from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law and his
BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Jeff is admitted to practice in Ohio.

Nick Ziepfel is a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment group and works out of the Liberty Center location. Nick’s practice focuses on client counseling, litigation, and dispute resolution to businesses and individuals out of Graydon’s Labor & Employment Group. Nick often advocates clients’ interests in federal and state court, and before governmental agencies such as the DOL and EEOC. Nick also routinely trains and counsels human resources staff, supervisors, and employees on employment-related topics and works closely with employers to resolve workplace disputes. Nick also represents local governments, school districts, and numerous entities in a variety of matters, including public records requests, Ohio’s Sunshine Laws, public funding procedures, real estate disputes, and zoning drafting and compliance. Nick earned his JD from University of Cincinnati College of Law and his BS in Business from Miami University. In addition to his legal practice, Nick serves on the boards of Community First Solutions, Fitton Center, and the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. He is admitted to practice in Ohio.
