HATS AND HORNS!
My sister Julie used to say that as a congratulatory message. And that sentiment is much on my mind this afternoon.
The Cincinnati Enquirer is a recipient of a Pulitzer Prize for local reporting. The winning submission is the phenomenal reporting called “Seven Days of Heroin.”
The fact that The Enquirer won, in my view, is only the second best part of this news. The best part? The Pulitzer exposure will lead more people reading this fantastic piece. It is amazing. And disturbing. And a call to action. It is what journalism is all about.
I’ve been honored to represent The Enquirer for 23 years. It is great to see my friends receive this well deserved recognition.
