Interesting Timing

There’s been much talk about SOPA – the legislation designed to limit online privacy or kill the Internet, depending on who you listen to. I have not blogged about it, because it’s still being tossed around like a political football, or hot potato, depending on which metaphor you prefer. For now, it’s not entirely clear what SOPA will look like when and if it actually becomes law. But this article from Wired about a major bust of the file sharing site Megaupload is a pretty stark reminder that the feds already have at least some tools to deal with online piracy.
