Microsoft And Do Not Track
On December 3, I posted about the FTC’s “disappointment” with the Web browser industry, and the prospect of a mandatory “do not track” feature that may be coming. On December 7, Microsoft announced that it’s new Internet Explorer will have anti-tracking technology. Coincidence? Actually, the Washington Post piece has some interesting comments at the bottom. It appears that in trying to please the FTC, Microsoft may be annoying potential customers. Can’t make everyone happy I suppose.
