Shopping For Trouble
My law partner Brian Thomas passed this piece on to me. The story describes how the Price Chopper grocery chain overreacted to a negative tweet. It details about 3-4 things a business should not do in response to a negative comment on Twitter. Like for instance, don’t contact the employer of the negative tweeter and request that disciplinary action be taken against him. I suppose as you draft a social media policy, you’d like to think that some things are so obvious they don’t need to be set out. Perhaps not.
