Social Media And Framing

Every once in a while I don’t blog about a strictly legal issue. Today is one of those times. I attended a lunch presentation today at the American Advertising Federation Cincinnati Chapter. We saw a reel of winning projects from the Cannes Lions Awards. One of those winning submissions was this video. I don’t want to spoil it for you so please take the nearly three minutes to check it out. The story of saving the Troy, Michigan Library is a testament to the power of social media, but perhaps more importantly, to the power of framing an argument. If you can make people believe a tax levy is really about book burning, you’re probably going to win the argument every time!
