William is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Counsel Practice Group, where his practice focuses on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, commercial and financial transactions, taxation of individuals and business entities, business succession planning and nonprofit organizations.
In his practice, William routinely counsels corporate clients from a wide variety of industries, including, manufacturing, real estate, transportation, construction private equity and professional services. William also advises clients on a variety of tax planning matters, and has considerable experience representing clients before various taxing authorities such as the Internal Revenue Service, IRS office of Appeals and Ohio Department of Taxation.
Prior to joining Graydon, William spent the majority of his career practicing at a mid-sized downtown Cincinnati law firm where he served on the firm’s management committee. William earned an LL.M. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law (taxation); a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law; and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Ohio University. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
