Tangled Up In View

I’m not sure if this is the future of concerts or not, but it’s an interesting post about a recent Bob Dylan concert in Washington, D.C. Apparently, Dylan refuses any photography at his shows, and his people really try to enforce the ban, even on camera phone shots from the cheap seats. Dylan also seems bent on discouraging media coverage of his shows. He sets aside no tickets for the press even to purchase. His people apparently issued a statement saying it would not allow press at shows “even if they were buying their tickets.” This apparently was a mangled way of saying there were no tickets set aside for the press, but perhaps it captured the sentiment.
